If your business doesn’t have an online presence, you are missing out on a lot of customers.  In large part, people are not getting out the yellow pages and looking for your business.  Those days are gone.  If you want to get noticed by potential customers, having a website for your business is imperative.  

Having a website for your business will build credibility for your brand.  A 2015 study by Verisign showed that 84% of consumers feel that a business with a website is more credible than a business with only a social media page.  This study surveyed more than 775 internet consumers aged 18-59 and 450 small business owners in the U.S.  As time and technology advance, more and more consumers will be turning to the internet to find the products and services they need.  

You want as many consumers as possible to be able to discover your business.  As of 6:30 this morning, more than 1.5 billion Google searches have been done.  People turn to the internet to find and research products and services they are looking for.  If your business has no web presence, think of the number of customers you are turning away.  The number of customers that will never find you even though you may offer the precise product or service they are looking for.  You are giving your competitor the business advantage.  

With a website, you can open your business to the world.  Anybody anywhere can find the products you are selling.  Don’t send your potential customers to your competitor.
